Basis for the investigation The study of the status quo of junior high school chemistry teaching linking production and living reality should be based on the training objectives of compulsory education. The training objectives stipulated in the “Compulsory Education Law” express the true connotation of the Marxist theory of human overall development. The comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, and physical development is the requirement for individual physical and mental development.
