中华文明历史题材美术创作工程是一项艰巨而神圣的工程,是国家文化的象征,随着时间的流逝越来越彰显出其社会价值和艺术价值。作为美术工作者我们很荣幸能参与到这一伟大的工程中来,完成了一项艰巨的任务,也了却了我们多年来的夙愿。我们创作的是历史画《秦始皇统一中国》,如此巨幅的历史人物画并且又是命题创作,对我们来说是头一回。我们曾经惊叹经典的、大场面的历史人物画作,感叹那些作者的伟大,每每带着敬仰和崇拜的心情去品读。今天当轮到自己来完成这项任务时,顿时感到肩上的责任和压力 The historic project of Chinese civilization is an arduous and sacred project and a symbol of national culture.
