苏北滨海盐土区位于江苏省的东部,东临黄海,西界串场河、盐河一线,南起启东,北抵赣榆,总面积约2万平方公里。本区开垦历史较短,土地资源丰富,但土壤普遍含盐,肥力较低。研究和掌握本区土壤中水、盐运动的规律,搞好农田水利建设,是加速本区土壤改良(尤其是新垦区的改良),巩固盐土改良成果的战略性措施。
The coastal saline soil area of Jiangsu Province lies in the eastern part of Jiangsu Province. It faces the Yellow Sea to the east, the Chuanchang River to the west, the Yanhe River to the south, Qidong from the south and Ganyu to the north, with a total area of about 20,000 square kilometers. The history of reclamation in this area is short and the land is rich in resources. However, the soil generally contains salt and its fertility is low. Studying and grasping the law of water and salt movement in the soil in this area and doing a good job in the construction of irrigation and water conservancy are strategic measures to speed up soil improvement in this area (especially the improvement of new reclamation areas) and to consolidate the salty soil improvement results.
