W.B.White和K.L.Keester用非偏振光观测过透辉石的室温谱;R.G.Burns用偏振光作了更仔细的观测;G.M.Bancroft等人也均作过观测。他们观测到的谱带最多的达六条,本实验除观察到与他们相似的谱带之外,还多了两条,一共观察到了十条谱带。 透辉石Fe~(2+)离子的自旋允许谱,也曾有人报道,但对它的自旋禁戒跃迁报道很少。本文对所观测到的谱,不采用多参量实验拟合的办法,而用赵给出的3d径向波函数,按点-荷模型,对透辉石在M_1位置Fe~(2+)离子的自旋允许谱和禁戒谱作了合理的解释。
W. B. White and K.L. Keester observed the room temperature spectra of diopside with unpolarized light; R.G. Burns made more detailed observations of the polarized light; and G. M. Bancroft et al.
