接受美学是在20世纪中期产生的,这一概念的直接发起人是德国康斯坦茨大学的汉斯·罗伯特·姚斯。他的理论立刻引起了世界范围内的反响,这一反响开启了以读者和接受者为中心的文学研究的新方向。其后,伊瑟尔又对此理论有所发展。在这一重要的理论中“期待视野”这一概念是与整个理论体系不可分离的,即使是所用术语不同,然而它却渗透于每个重要的思想体系之中。我们可以从接受美学的两个主要代表人物姚斯和伊瑟尔的重要理论中来看出“期待视野”在这一美学思想系统中的重要性。
The aesthetics of reception was created in the mid-20th century. The direct sponsor of this concept was Hans Robert Dowys, University of Konstanz, Germany. His theory immediately aroused worldwide repercussions, which opened up a new direction of literary research centered on readers and recipients. Since then, Isell has developed this theory. In this important theory, the notion of “horizon of expectation” is inseparable from the entire theoretical system. Even though terminology is different, it permeates every important ideological system. From the important theories of Yao Si and Isel, two main representatives of aesthetics, we can see the importance of “horizon of expectation” in this aesthetic system of thought.
