Taklimakan is the most abundant desert in China. It is widely distributed in the Tarim Basin in southern Xinjiang, relies on the Kunlun Mountains in the south, is near the Tianshan Mountains in the north, Pamir in the west and Lop Nur in the east. The area is quite the sum of the three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. Here is the world of yellow sand, sand dunes rolling ups and downs, like freezing the sea of frozen sea, mysterious terror, by Chinese and foreign explorers called the “sea of death.” As a reporter of Xinhua News Agency, I interviewed and investigated with the officials six times in the sea of death.
