茄子起源于亚州东南热带地区,性喜温暖,不耐霜冻,故在贵州作春季栽培.近年来,随着城市生活水平的不断提高.人们在冬季对茄子需求量已逐渐增加,因此,发展冬茄子对增加冬季蔬菜花色品种,增加农民经济收入都具有重要意义.贵州中亚热带河谷地区,热量资源丰富,在海拔37(?)~650m,年均温17.8~19.7℃,元月份平均气温8 4~10.1℃,无霜期329~350天的地区,于粮食作物收获后,利用冬闲田土种植冬茄子,既不影响粮食生产,又可利用冬季闲散劳力发展蔬菜商品生产.1989年笔者在罗甸、镇宁两县进行茄子冬季栽培试验,获得成功,1994年冬茄子的种植面积达752亩,产量1729.6t,总产值207.55万元.一般亩产量2300kg,亩产值2760元,最高亩产可达5100kg,产值6120元,产品于2月份开始上市,取得了较好的经济效益和社会效益.本项技术适宜在国内以贵州为代表的中亚热带地区及类似地区推广应用,现将其丰产栽培技术总结如下.
