The bearing capacity of reinforced concrete (RC) columns reinforced with angle steel and steel strip is compared. These validated expressions take into account the strength distribution caused by the restraining effect of the transverse steel strip; the composite effect of the angle steel and the unconstrained core concrete; the strength distribution resulting from the combined action of the angle steel and the core concrete (taking into account the angle steel Axial force and bending moment and core concrete are restrained by transverse strip).
