称呼语作为文化的一部分,其翻译研究一直备受广大学者的关注,尤其在译介中,由于中西方文化的差异,关于称呼语的翻译一直没有相同的准则。本文选取霍克斯的《红楼梦》译本,从语用等值视角了探寻红楼梦中不同情境下不同人物的称呼语翻译,描述了语用原则下的称呼语翻译现象,阐释了语用等值在称呼语翻译中的意义。
Addressing as a part of culture, translation studies have always attracted the attention of a large number of scholars. Especially in translation and translation, because of the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, there is no consistent guideline on the translation of address forms. In this paper, Hawkes’ version of A Dream of Red Mansions is selected to explore the address translation of different characters under different situations in the Dream of Red Mansions from the perspective of pragmatic equivalence.
