我队野猪沟工区一号坑手掘平巷,当掘进到11米多时,遇到了宽约0.5—1.10公尺的石英脈,这给打眼工作带来了很大的困难,因为在这种坚硬的石英带上钻凿炮眼,不仅消耗大量的釬子,而且钻眼速度也显著降低,当然进尺也就无法提高了。根据这一情况,该坑王汉良同志大胆地创造了“挤石英”爆破法。经实验证明,采用这种爆破法,能大大的減少釬子消耗量,每原班进尺也从原来的0.30公尺提高到0.60～0.70公尺,这对完成九月分生产任务起了很大的作用。
