沙棘是集生态、经济、社会效益于一身的优良树种。沙棘对不良环境适应性强,抗旱抗风沙、耐盐碱耐瘠薄,在生态环境建设中具有重要作用,是营造防风固沙林和水土保持林的先锋树种之一。基于此,针对选育优良树种、培育良种壮苗、进行细致整地、进行科学栽植、加强抚育管理、搞好平茬及病虫害防治几方面展开论述。
