丁基罗丹明 B 萃取光度法测定镓,具有选择性好和灵敏度高的优点。因此,目前较普遍用于测定矿石中的微量镓。但我们在用乙酸丁酯从7N 盐酸中初步分离萃取氯化镓(或 HGaCl_4)时,在10毫升水相中若二氧化硅大于40毫克,萃取时即析出硅胶,影响分层和导致结果偏低。由于 HBF_4络合物中的硼与试剂的显色反应极为灵敏,为防止玻璃器皿中的硼转入溶液带来干扰,所以在制备试液过程中须尽量避免使用氢氟酸或其他氟化物。这样,为了除去矿样溶液中的大量硅酸,须用盐酸蒸干脱水。
