政府公关是政府的一种软性行为，其本质是政府与公众之间的信息传播沟通关系。当前我国的政府信息传播机制尚存在信源开放度不高、信道畅通度不高、信息真实度不高、受众素质不高等问题。问题的存在使政府信息传播机制的改革已成当务之急。改革的切入点是政府行政公开；改革的突破口是给传媒应有的独立性。 Government PR is a kind of soft behavior of the government, whose essence is the communication and dissemination of information between the government and the public.
