糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)是血液中红细胞内血红蛋白与血糖结合的产物。血糖通过弥散方式进入细胞内,无需胰岛素参与。血糖与血红蛋白的结合过程缓慢且不可逆,在红细胞死亡之前一直存在,每个红细胞内都有血红蛋白,而红细胞的寿命为120 d,平均60 d。因此,临床上认为HbA1c水平能更准确地反映过去2~3个月中患者空腹和餐后血糖的综合水平,且不受短期饮食、运动等
