作物转基因育种是基于DNA体外重组、遗传转化等生物技术的一项现代分子育种技术。它可打破遗传物质分类上门、纲、目、科属的界限,实现基因的界间转移,从而大大拓宽作物遗传改良可资利用的基因源,为农作物品种改良开辟了崭新的途径。转基因作物的育成和大面积应用,将极大地推进农业生产的发展,因此,作物转基因育种将是农业新技术革命中的核心技术。在美国、加拿大等国,抗虫、耐除草剂转基因玉米、棉花、大豆、油菜等的育成和推广,已对农业生产产生了一定的影响。为此,作者分析了我国作物转基因育种的现状和存在的问题,提出了发展我国转基因育种工作的若干建议。
Crop genetically modified breeding is a modern molecular breeding technology based on DNA in vitro recombination, genetic transformation and other biotechnology. It can break the boundaries of genetic material classification home, outline, head and family gene and realize the inter-gene transfer of gene, thus greatly broadening the available genetic resources for crop genetic improvement and opening up a brand new way for the improvement of crop varieties. The breeding of genetically modified crops and large area applications will greatly promote the development of agricultural production. Therefore, crop breeding will be the core technology in the revolution of new agricultural technologies. In the United States and Canada, the breeding and popularization of insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant transgenic corn, cotton, soybean and rapeseed have exerted a certain impact on agricultural production. To this end, the author analyzed the current status and existing problems of transgenic crop breeding in our country and put forward some suggestions for developing transgenic breeding in our country.
