我与鲁迅先生初次见面,是一九一五年我在北京民国大学读书的时候。这年秋天的一个星期日,我到香炉营头条京师图书分馆去找宋紫佩,适值他房间里有一位客人坐着看书,经过宋紫佩介绍,才知道这客人是周豫才,即鲁迅先生。彼此约略交谈,似乎一见如故。他那种谦虚、朴实、和蔼可亲的样子,给我留下了非常深刻的印象。以后,在许寿裳先生处也不断见面。我还记得有一天沈幼香从平谷县来,在南半截胡同一家以做潘鱼江豆腐著名的广和届菜馆里请客,鲁迅先生也在座。 My first meeting with Mr. Lu Xun was when I was studying in the National University of Beijing in 1915.
