On June 8,2013,State Councilor Yang Jiechi held a briefing on the meeting between President Xi Jinping and President Barack Obama at the Annenberg Estate,introducing the results of China-U.S.presidential meeting and answering the reporters' questions.
Yang said that on June 7 and 8,President Xi had a meeting with President Obama at the Annenberg Estate in California,the United States at the invitation of President Obama.This meeting is not only the first face-to-face contact and communication between the two heads of state after the two countries completed their leadership transition,but also a pioneering undertaking in high-level association between China and the United States.
