“记忆”合金,是指具有形状记忆效应的合金制件,在明显的塑性形变之后,经过适当处理,可以回复到它变形前的原始形状。这种形状的回复,是通过将制件加热到一定的温度来激发的。合金在回复过程中会产生相当大的力,可作不同程度的机械功,因而具有相当的实用意义。其中最常用的是55-Nitinol合金,为镍含量在54~56%之间的镍钛金属间化合物,是五十年代末,美国海军武器实验室(U.S.Naval Ordnance Laboratory)在研究镍钛合金时,偶然发现的。镍钛记忆合金的形状记忆过程简述如下: 1.镍钛合金的制件可以是不同尺寸的丝,棒,片,管等锻制件或铸件。
