November 1988 at TISCO Ekou iron mine, the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and China North Industries (Group) Corporation jointly held Belas and Deutz air-cooled engine matching application of technical appraisal. 65 representatives from 21 units including metallurgy, hydropower, China Automotive Industry Corporation, research institutes and colleges and universities as well as China North Industries (Group) Corporation participated in the appraisal meeting.
