Cranes could collapse at any moment ... The construction site next to an apartment in New York is building a 31-storey building next to a crane weighing dozens of tons and 143 meters high. One morning, the worker suddenly found that the crane’s forearm was too long, unmanageable, and still shaking because of computer maneuvers. The workers pulled out immediately and called for an emergency call. Experts believe that if the wind is too large, the crane collapsed at any time possible, in that case, the apartment will be the biggest victim. To avoid breaking the crane’s forearm, the expert decides to first weld and reinforce it, then retract the long arm, which can take up to 4 days. To avoid accidents, apartment residents had to withdraw.
