随着原子能和平利用事业的逢勃发展,农用钴室在全国各省区相继建立,照射材料的范围也迅速扩大。由于照材料要求的照射量率各不相同,所以根据所要求的照射量率准确地确定照射位置就很必要了。对于点源照射位置的计算,可根据公式:P=KI/(R~2)式中:P 代表源距为 R 时的照射量率,I 代表放射源强度,K 是常数。但实际的放射源不是点源,所以引用这个公式容易引起误差。特别是在 R 较小,而放射源的线度又较大时,引进的误差也就更大。为了避免由此而引起误差,往往需要在照射前用仪表实地测量来确定照射位置。这就显得过于麻烦。我们通过做一条规一化的辐射场场强分布曲线,就可以很容易地计算出要求的照射位置。
