In mid-May, at the State Health Planning Commission’s press conference, the Chinese Nutrition Society released the 2016 version of the “Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents” (hereinafter referred to as “the Guidebook”). This is an important revision based on the 2007 version of the Dietary Guidelines for Chinese People nine years ago.
