普通圆板牙的三跳,即外圆及端面对螺纹中心线的偏摆跳动,切削刃对外圆的斜向圆跳动,一直是圆板牙生产过程中的难点,而板牙丝锥的攻丝质量是影响其中两跳(外圆及端面对螺纹中心线的偏摆跳动)的关键.目前多数工具厂使用的板牙丝锥均不能很好地保证两跳(尤其是M6以下规格的圆板牙).为了提高圆板牙的位置精度,笔者通过分析研究,在原板牙丝锥的基础上稍作改动,设计出带前导向的板牙丝锥(见图1)d孔为圆板牙攻丝前底孔直径E为圆板牙厚度从圆板牙攻丝过程中得知,为防止损伤已加工的螺纹,圆板牙攻丝后从柄部取出板牙丝锥,为了在攻丝机方孔卡头上快速方便地装入极牙丝锥,一般攻丝机方孔卡头比丝锥方头尺寸大0.20~0.25mm;而丝锥的切削锥角为0°40′,这样在攻丝时,普通圆板牙丝锥就可能产生外圆及端面对螺纹中心线的角度偏差——外圆及端面对螺纹中心线的偏摆跳动(见图2).
