The basic technical problem of pipeline hydraulic transportation is to select the proper pipe diameter, concentration, particle size and flow rate under the conditions of constant conveying volume, conveying distance and height difference so as to achieve the purpose of low energy consumption and good economic effect. An important measure of energy consumption is the hydraulic gradient of pipelines. The calculation of pipeline hydraulic gradient, our country has been using Knoks formula. As the production practice has proved that its calculated value is too large, no
