会议于5月5～8日召开,有27位理事和学会所属3个杂志的代表到会。 会题听取了铸铁、铸钢、特铸及有色、造型材料及工艺、铸机等七个专业委员会,中国铸造史、稀土在铸造合金中的应用等三个专题委员会,国际交流、指导性技术文件等三个工作委员会以及“铸造”、“中国铸机”、“特种铸造及有色合金”等三个杂志的汇报。会议议定的主要事项有:
