课文教学是由许多具体环节构成的,如:介绍时代背景、扫除文字障碍、分析段落大意、总结写作特点等。在教学实践中,我体会到,在处理这些具体环节时,如果不从整体着眼,很容易脱离对课文全篇的理解,造成学生见木不见林的弊端。因此,教师在教学全过程中的整体意识必须十分明确。这种整体意识应如何体现在课文教学的全过程之中呢?我想结合《海燕》一课的教学谈三点体会:一.起始阶段就要抓住整体。起始阶段,是一节课的“龙头”,起着导向作用。初上讲台时。我常从课文第一自然段入手,使这个“龙头”一下子沉入对某一段文字的具体分析之中。现在悟出:对于一篇新课文,学生总是有一种新异感。充分利用这种新异感,将学生的注意力引向对全篇课文的整体感知,是很有必要的。我教《海燕》设计了这样的满怀激情的导语:
