科技工作面面观 通过考察交流及阅读有关资料,笔者对日本科技工作有了一些大概的了解。纵观科学发展史,可以肯定这样两个基本事实:一是基础理论研究对技术进步产生人类文明起到了巨大的推动作用;二是在实现现代化的过程中,应用性研究即对国民经济建设有直接意义的科研工作起了根本的作用。日本PNC东浓地科所的官员在与我方的交谈中,都强调了政府对地学基础研究的高度重视。激烈的国际竞争使日本不敢忽视地学基础理论研究,认为这种研究的最后成果不仅对本国的相关学科发展起到重大促进作用,亦对决定自己的国际地位举足轻重。再如,由于深刻认识射作为第三维空间的“压力”在制造新物质、新材料以及极大影响物理、化学、材料科学,地球科学等学科发展
Overall View of Scientific and Technological Work Through the study of exchange and reading of relevant information, I have some general knowledge of Japanese science and technology work. Throughout the history of science, two basic facts can be affirmed: First, fundamental theoretical research has played a huge role in promoting technological progress in generating human civilization; second, in the process of realizing modernization, applied research has made great contributions to the national economic construction Direct research work has played a fundamental role. In their conversations with us, officials of Japan's PNC Tonocon Research Office emphasized the government's high regard for fundamental research in geosciences.
