一、湖北桃苗繁育概况湖北气候温暖湿润。适宜桃树栽培。如大悟、武昌、枣阳、谷城、阳新等县,在抗日战争前即多栽培。苗木来源,除少数地区(武昌红坊、阳新江右等处)由农业社自已培育外,其它各地所需苗木,大多由大悟购入。大悟在鄂北京汉铁路广水站东约五十余里,该县大新乡农民多以桃树育苗为副业。所用繁殖方法系贴皮高芽接法。这个方法和一般的芽接法不同,由于嫁接时期早(6月上旬至7月上旬),在砧木上嫁接的位置高,且系石砧木剥下一块皮和接穗剥下皮圈互相贴
