笔者曾在许多地方欣赏过章文熙的美术作品,并拜读过他的专著,被他的作品所深深感染,对这位艺术家景仰已久。当笔者如约来到章文熙的家中,他对我们的来访给予了热情的欢迎。在客厅落座后,他为我们各冲了一杯产自印度尼西亚的咖啡,和着浓郁的咖啡香味,我们饶有兴味地交谈起来。他的客厅极富艺术情调,不少工艺品装饰其间,错落有致。最吸引我的还是那几个木雕工艺品,看上去显得古朴且富有乡土气息,章文熙告诉我们,他非常喜欢这几件从印尼带来的木雕。章文熙为什么和印尼有着如此深厚的感情呢?1940年5月,章文熙出生在印尼东爪哇首府泗水的一个爱国华侨家庭。他的父亲章臣桓曾担任泗水等地的中华学校校长、中国书局经理。新中国成立之日,章臣桓在书局第一批挂起了五星红旗,表达了对新中国成立的喜悦之情。1950年,我国与印尼建立邦交,章臣桓专程赶到首都雅
I have admired Zhang Wenxi’s works of art in many places and have read his monographs and are deeply infected by his works. I have long admired this artist. When I came to Zhang Wenxi’s house as an example, he warmly welcomed our visit. After sitting in the living room, he rushed for each of us a cup of coffee produced in Indonesia, and a strong coffee flavor, we talked with great interest. His living room is very artistic atmosphere, many handicrafts during the decoration, patchwork. The most attractive to me or that a few carved wooden crafts, looks simple and full of rustic flavor, Zhang Wenxi told us that he liked these pieces brought from Indonesia, wood carving. Why did Zhang Wenxi and Indonesia have such a profound feeling? In May 1940, Zhang Wenxi was born in East Java, Indonesia, Surabaya, a patriotic overseas Chinese family. Zhang Chenhuan, his father, served as president of the Chinese School in Surabaya, and a manager of the Chinese Book Company.
