1997年,水利系统水电行业积极贯彻水利部党组《关于水利系统水电改革与发展思路》,不断加快建设步伐,在连续7年投产装机100万kW以上的情况下,又取得历史性突破,投产首次破200万kW,达224.5万kW,占同期全国水电新增装机的47％。新增装机前15名的省(区)是(单位:万kW):
In 1997, the hydropower system of the water conservancy system actively implemented the “Water Conservancy System Reform and Development Ideas” of the Ministry of Water Resources and continuously accelerated the pace of construction. In the case of more than 1 million kW installed capacity for 7 consecutive years, it also achieved historic breakthroughs and put into production for the first time.
