The piezoelectric properties of two commercial polypropylene honeycomb membranes (EUH75 and SHD50) were investigated.The piezoelectric d33 coefficients of the two commercial membranes measured by thermal expansion were respectively 1919 pC / N and 196 pC / N . They are about two orders of magnitude higher than the untreated sample and are more than an order of magnitude more than the well-known ferroelectric PVDF.
