目的检测肠道病毒71型(EV71)病毒性脑炎患者脑脊液和血清中S100B的含量,并探讨S100B对EV71病毒性脑炎患者脑损害的评估价值。方法 33例EV71病毒性脑炎患者、29例单纯手足口病患者、26例非神经系统疾病的对照组患者的脑脊液和血清中的S100B含量均采用酶联免疫吸附试验双抗体夹心法检测,比较各组S100B含量的差异。结果 EV71病毒性脑炎组脑脊液和血清S100B含量显著高于对照组(P<0.01),而单纯手足口病组与对照组相比无统计学差异(P>0.05);EV71病毒性脑炎患者中惊厥/抽搐组脑脊液和血清S100B含量高于无惊厥/抽搐组,意识障碍组高于无意识障碍组(P均<0.01);EV71病毒性脑炎患者脑脊液和血清中S100B含量呈正相关(r=0.78,P<0.01)。结论脑脊液和血清S100B含量可以作为EV71病毒性脑炎患者脑损伤的标记物,其含量的高低与疾病的严重程度呈正相关关系。
Objective To detect the content of S100B in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum of patients with enterovirus 71 (EV71) viral encephalitis and to evaluate the value of S100B in assessing brain damage in patients with EV71 viral encephalitis. Methods The levels of S100B in cerebrospinal fluid and serum of 33 patients with EV71 viral encephalitis, 29 patients with simple hand-foot-mouth disease and 26 patients with non-neurological diseases were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and double antibody sandwich method The difference of S100B content in each group. Results The levels of S100B in cerebrospinal fluid and serum in EV71 encephalitis group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.01), but no difference was found between HFMD group and control group (P> 0.05). EV71 encephalitis patients The levels of S100B in cerebrospinal fluid and serum in convulsion / convulsion group were higher than those without convulsion / convulsion, while in disturbance of consciousness group were higher than those in unconscious group (all P <0.01); S100B content in cerebrospinal fluid and serum was positively correlated with EV71 viral encephalitis (r = 0.78, P <0.01). Conclusions Cerebrospinal fluid and serum S100B levels can be used as markers of brain injury in patients with EV71 viral encephalitis. The levels of S100B in cerebrospinal fluid and serum are positively correlated with the severity of the disease.
