“翻译研究”学派是自二十世纪七十年代以来在比利时和荷兰等西欧“低地国家”兴起一种以探讨译文的产生和作用为主的学者群体。以詹姆斯·霍姆斯为代表的学者们把“独立学科”的概念引入翻译研究领域,翻译研究学派的诞生和发展促进了翻译学学科的建立和翻译理论研究的发展。本文着重介绍了翻译文化学派的代表人物及其理论观的要点,希冀借此了解和探索西方翻译理论的发展和趋势。
The “Translation Studies” school has emerged since the 1970s as a group of scholars focusing on the production and function of translations in Western Europe and the “Low Countries” such as Belgium and the Netherlands. Scholars represented by James Holmes introduced the concept of “independent discipline” into the field of translation studies. The birth and development of the school of translation studies promoted the establishment of translation studies and the development of theoretical studies on translation. This article focuses on the key points of the representative of translation culture school and its theoretical view, hoping to understand and explore the development and trend of western translation theory.
