稽勋留学生是中华民国的首批官派留学生,也是中国近代留学教育中比较特殊的一个群体。其成员多为原先追随孙中山打天下的革命党人,或是对辛亥革命有功人士的子弟,他们由临时稽勋局以“酬勋”名义派遣出国留学,同时享受财政部全额拨款,但不归教育部按一般留学生管理。这批留学生热心向学,多数成才,其中张竞生、宋子文、任鸿隽、谭熙鸿、杨杏佛、李四光等人更是成为中国近代史上的重要人物。
JI Xun students are the first batch of official students in the Republic of China, as well as a special group in the study abroad education in modern China. Most of its members were former revolutionaries who had traced Sun Yat-sen to fight the world, or were children of the meritorious people in the Revolution of 1911. They were sent by overseas temporary aid bureau to study abroad under the name of “paid honors” while enjoying the Ministry of Finance’s full appropriation but not By the Ministry of Education by the general management of students. Among them, Zhang Jingsheng, Song Zicheng, Ren Hongjun, Tan Xihong, Yang Xingfu, Li Siguang and others are even more important personalities in modern Chinese history.
