Following the opening of the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines for more than a decade, the Northeast and Shangyue Shinkansen were successively put into operation in June and November 1982, thereby improving the nation’s rail transport system. The Shinkansen as a next plan is the Tohoku Shinkansen (Morioka-Aomori), Hokkaido Shinkansen (Aomori-Sapporo), Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tokyo-Osaka), Kyushu Shinkansen (Fukuoka-Kagoshima), Kyushu New Route (Fukuoka - Nagasaki). When these Shinkansen routes are completed, a network of 3,500km of Shinkansen will be formed across the country. If you are using these Shinkansen transport passengers, then the transport of passengers in an hour can account for 80% of the total population of Japan.
