This article describes a new type of digital Holter recording monitoring system that uses a single-chip microcomputer MCS-51 control. The system uses a real-time adaptive ECG data compression algorithm (MFAN), optimal coding and high-capacity dynamic memory technology, can store up to 24 hours of ECG signals.
