  Prebioties have been shown to benefit the human colonic environment by stimulating the growth of specific acid-tolerant microflora containing bifidobacteria and lactic acid bacteria and controlling the growth of pathogens and their toxin production.We studied the effects of two types of oligosaccharides (isomalto-oligosaccharide and fructo oligosaccharide),which can stimulate probiotic bacterial growth and enhance sensory properties of Kimchi.
