To study that yield and quality are simultaneously improved at optimum level of nitrogen in the suitable winter wheat varieties of strong gluten in the North China in different ecological regions, so we can provides a theoretical and technical reference for that high yield,good quality and high efficiency are synchronous lifted.We choose seven strong gluten wheat varieties (Gao 8901, Yumai 34, Yannong 19, Jimai 20, Wanmai 38, Shan 253 and Linyou 145),four nitrogen levels (no nitrogen, nitrogen 120 kg ha-1, 225 kg ha-1, and 300 kg ha-1 in the whole growth period), and six ecological regions (Renqiu, Hebei Province, the Central Plains;Yanzhou,Shandong Province, Southern Plains;Xinxiang, the central plains of northern Henan;Fengxian,Jiangsu, Yellow River alluvial plain;Guoyang, Anhui, Huaibei plain;Yanhu District, Shanxi,North China Plateau) to study the optimal nitrogen application level of grain yield and protein content of suitable varieties in each ecological region are simultaneously improved.The results of yield showed that the yield of different varieties in each ecological region increased gradually with the increase of the amount of nitrogen fertilizer, and reached the level of significance (P<0.05).
