Objectives: We aimed to evaluate clinical outcomes and identify the influence factors of survival in peritoneal dialysis(PD)patients in our center which is second large center in china. Methods: This retrospective study included all PD patients treated at our center from 2005 to 2014 and regular follow-up of more than 3 months. We calculation of PD patients 1 year,2 years,3 years,5 years and 8years survival rate, technical survival rate, and compared clinical differences between groups follow-up and dropout PD.Results: Kaplan-Meier cumulative proportional patient survival rates were 92%,86%,84%,77%and 72%,at 1,2,3,5 and 8 years, respectively, and cumulative proportional technique survival rates were 91%,85%,80%,72%and 56%,at 1,2,3,5 and 8 years, respectively.Of 1250 patients,842 cases(55.39%)followed up,678 cases(44.61%)droped out.Amony 678 cases,288 cases(42.48%)renal transplanted,192 cases(28.32%)changed to hemodialysis(HD),150 cases(22.12%)died,24 cases(3.54%)recoveryed renal function,18 cases(2.65%)lost followup,6 cases(0.88%)turned other courts. The main reason of turning to HD was PD related peritonitis(58,30.21%),followed by capacity imbalances(26,13.54%),the third was subjective reason(26,13.54%).The main reason of death was cardiovascular events(37,24.67%),follow by cerebrovascular events(25,16.67%),the third was give up(21,14.00%).Age,eGFR,DBP,edema,hemoglobin,serum albumin, prealbumin and CRP were significant differences(all P<0.05)between follow-up group and death group, and Edema, hemoglobin, serum albumin and CRP were significant differences(allP<0.05)between followup group and turned to HD group. Conclusion: Our study demonstrated that the main reason of dropout was RT,followed by turning to HD,the third was death.PD-related peritonitis was the major reason for turning to hemodialysis.Cardiovascular events was the main cause of death. In our center PD patients survival and technique survival rates were equal to or even higher than other centers.Compared follow-up and dropout groups,it need paying close attention to nutrition, capacity, residual renal function, which have significant difference.
