The flooding in Nan basin was mostly caused by heavy rain in the catchment and the physical conditions of the basin, such as the upper watershed destroyed, insufficient large water reservoir in the upper watershed to slow the flood, low efficiency of water drainage due to shallow water or encroachment, the construction of water barriers and the change of land use.The most difficulty of early warning system, due to the installation of terrain measuring, it then limits a number of direct measurements of rainfall in NAN basin leading to insufficient data to warn of flood disasters effectively.Hence, the indirect way of remote sensing has a vital role in approach to the data to cover the target.
