Objective: To investigate the effect of pulmonary hemodynamics to endogenous nitric oxide(NO)in acute hypoxia rats. Methods: The non-selective nitric oxide synthase(NOS)inhibitor NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester(L-NAME)was administered in anesthetized rats.In order to observed changes in pulmonary hemodynamics of rats, the central venous pressure(CVP),Systemic arterial pressure(Psa),pulmonary arterial pressure(PAP),left atrial pressure(LAP),aortic blood flow(ABF),and airway pressure(Paw)were directly and simultaneously measured in rats under normoxia(20.9%O2)and different hypoxia(17%O2、15%O2)respectively.
