  Forests contributing several crucial ecosystem services,and are of major importance to human society.Urban forests are of particularly importance to the increasing number of citizens during this fast urbanization era in China.Chinese government initiated "The national forest city" project in 2004.As of 2016,a total of 118 cities have been issued the title of "National Forest City",and 130 more cities are conducting the construction and application for this hornable national title.
