Electrosorption process, referred to as capacitive deionization technology, is a promising method to remove ions from aqueous solutions. Nanoporous carbon electrode, such as carbon aerogel,activatedcarbon, carbon nanotubes and ordered mesoporous carbon, is a key component to determine its electrosorption performance.
