The matching method of turbofan engines is becoming increasing complicated because it is a problem with multiple targets and multiple variables.Therefore,a suitable matching method is required for the overall performance scheme design.In this paper,based on an axial flow compressor characteristic,a flow characteristic model is proposed to represent the pitch line of the axial flow compressor.Based on the flow characteristic model,a performance index function with weighted factors is built to determine the matching characteristic of the fan,booster and compressor.The component characteristics are select according to the cycle parameter selection results,and a component matching method is achieved with the consideration of turbofan engine typical operating conditions.The simulated results show that the weighted specific fuel consumption can be reduced.The specific fuel consumption of turbofan engines can be decreased with the use of matching method.The operating points of typical conditions would locate in the relatively high efficiency zone of the fan,booster and compressor respectively.
