Interior space is an indispensable place for human to do activities.For some places with special requirements in particular,the shape of interior space character directly affects the users personality psychological feelings and the efficiency of behavior occurring."Character" was originally defined on the psychology refers to the stable attitude that a person maintains toward reality and the personality factors in habits of behavior.Space character is the characteristic that through the joint of each part of the interior space reflected.In current design,designers have began to pay attention on shaping the character of the interior space and gradually clear the most important criteria to judge a space successful or not is whether it can meet the needs of peoples cognitive psychology.This article is from the space character to start a new angle to analyze a special kind of building court and explore its interior space design.Firstly,doing interpretation about what is space character and the composition of court space.Then through questionnaires,based on the different psychological needs of different users in different spaces of court.After verifying its character direction,from the 4 elements that affect the character including shape,size,interior color and light environment of the space to explore the shaping methods of different characters.Among all the design point of view,start from the users heart feeling is regarded as a good attempt,especially now on the judicial reform,court space is also developed gradually to the direction of humanity and people first.The theme of space character is from the user personally experience.Each part of the space has a different character theme,shaped from space shape,size,color and light environment to meet the needs of the users.Based on this order and method,to design the court space and proceeded to summarize a new mode to adjust the development of our court space.We believe this kind of court space can shorten the distance to the public and adopt better service for everyone.
