Background: Reactive oxygen species (ROS) is a significant pathogenic factor of osteoporosis.Ginsenoside-Rb2 (Rb2), a 20(S)-protopanaxadiol glycoside extracted from Ginseng, is a potent antioxidant which raises popular concern among the bone metabolism area.We try to testify anti-osteoporosis effects that Rb2 might possess and its underlying mechanisms by this study.
