Removing organic dyes from aqueous phase utilizing various aspects of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),such as absorption and degradation,is a topic attracting intense contemporary efforts.1 In this presentation,we report MOFs [Zn(1,2,3-BTA)(H2O)]·(H2L)0.5·2H2O(1·2H2O)and [Zn3L(1,2,3-BTA)2(H2O)6]·4H2O(2·4H2O),made via the reactions of N,N'-di(3-pyridyl)succinamide(L)with Zn(CH3COO)2·2H2O and hemimellitic acid hydrate(1,2,3-H3BTA)with different reaction stoichiometry.
