Bouchardatine is a naturally occurring alkaloid isolated from Bouchardatia neurococca (Rutaecae).In this study, we explored the mechanism by which bouchardatine blocked adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 adipocytes.Our data showed that bouchardatine mainly inhibited early differentiation of adipocyte through proliferation inhibition and cell cycle arrest1.
