Leguminosae, the thirdly largest family of the angiosperm,is diverse in morphology, ecology and biomes.Previous phylogenetic reconstructions of the Leguminosae based on one or a few genes have not resolved many deep phylogenetic relationships or some nodes only obtained low support. We applied 151 complete/nearly complete plastomes of 187 species representing all 36 tribes and most major clades of six subfamilies to infer phylogenetic relationships.
