In order to produce micro-and nanostructured polymer parts with the injection molding process, structured films can be used as polymeric inserts in the mold, simplifying the structuring of the master [1-3].This study focuses on the evaluation of the influence of different process parameters on the replication and the lifetime of a structured polymer film master used for injection molding of micro-and nanostructured polymeric parts. The melt and mold temperature, the injection flow rate, the holding pressure, and the usage of variothermal heating were varied. The used polymer film masters were produced with the ultra-violet nano-imprint lithography(UV-NIL)process,containing prism structures.
